I take refuge in Sri Rama's messenger — swift as thought, fleet as the wind, master of his senses, foremost among the wise; the son of the wind-god and chief of the vanara host. The classic meditation verse on Hanuman.
|| Doha || Shri Guru charan saroj raj, nij man mukur sudhari.

Doha: Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust of my Guru's lotus feet, I sing the pure glory of Shri Raghubar, who bestows the four fruits of life. Knowing this body to be lacking in wisdom, I remember the son of the wind — grant me strength, intelligence, and knowledge; remove my afflictions and faults. (40 verses in praise of Hanuman, by Goswami Tulsidas — complete chalisa.)
